This tool creates areas of your liking, into the existing terrain. Just create the config file using tile numbers and placement, and you're good to go.

Theorically, it should work for 128 terrains too, but I couldn't test this.

There are two example configs coming with this tool. Examine them please. Here's the result pictures for config files 1 and 2. In the second picture, a skip ratio of 5/1 is used. That means, for every placement, we skipped 5 areas appropriate after.

Be awared that, the pictures are from Aegean terrain, so looks different. But you get the idea I suppose.

Put your O2 file together with your L2 file before using it.

First post Updated to version 1.1

Changes:

Fixes:
Skipping one skip (:D) if area starts with -1,-1
Fix for warning if no o2 file exists in the location.

New:
Contact info added to readme
Keeping a log of replaced / skipped areas in c:\ATAP_Log_DDMMYYYY_HHMM.txt for every operation

In the log, the column starts with 1, in terrainview it starts with 0. So add 1 to the log.
The row info, in inversed. So extract the number in the log from 64.

For ex:

Log: Replaced: 32,54,12,3

Terrainview grid numbers: 31,10 and then the row and column in the 16x16 segment, which is not that important for finding the replaced area.

I don't think that's a good idea for log file location. Save it to user defined dir, or where the executable is located or in the same dir as the saved output L2 file. Also name it .log instead of .txt even as it is text file, makes more "log" feel to it.

Is it possible to configure ATAP program this way? :

search for pattern 1
x,r

change it to pattern 2
x,b

or

search for pattern 1
x
f
change it to pattern 2
x
h

etc...(even more complex patterns)
I guess it is not possible in current version.
It would be very usefull for fixing.

May I hope, we will see similar function in the next version?
